House wines

We think Idaho is a great place to live. Here is a little history about the hills where our grapes are grown.

Lava flows of Basalt and silica rich Rhyolite significantly blanketed what is known today as the Snake River Plain twice during a 17 million year span. In between those volcanic activities, the enormous Lake Idaho was formed.

In 2005, the Roghani family acquired 3 established vineyards, Ellensburg, Miceli, and Rock Creek. These vineyards were home to some of the oldest vines in the region and were cultivated on what was once the bottom sediments of that ancient Lake Idaho.

Today the Roghani Vineyards overlook the magnificent Snake River Valley with fertile farmlands below sending evening breezes towards this sun-drenched slice of heaven we call Roghani Vineyards.

2014 Riesling

This off-dry Riesling is full of apricot and pear flavors with an intense aroma of orange blossom. The high natural acidity balances well with the slight sweetness of the wine, lending it a balanced finish. 100% of the grapes in your bottle were hand-picked from the Roghani (Old Vine) Riesling Block 6.

2014 Late Harvest Riesling

Roghani Vineyards Late Harvest Riesling makes for a wonderful wine with its intensely flavored notes of ripe pear and sweet apricot. This ambrosial wine is equally balanced with firm acidity and provides a long sweet finish to a perfect meal.

2015 Riesling

The Roghani Vineyard Riesling of 2015 has aromas of apricot and white peaches with flavors of citrus fruit and a very pleasant dry finish that will complement a wide variety of foods. 100% of the grapes in your bottle were hand-picked from the Roghani (Old Vine) Riesling Block 6.

2015 Late Harvest Riesling

Our Late Harvest Riesling of 2015 shares the deep rich aroma of pear like we experienced in 2014. This harvest brings out orange blossom, and sweet flavors of tropical fruits. The finish is both long and rich, with plenty of acidity to balance the decadent sweetness. Best served chilled with a dessert or simply by itself. 100% of the grapes were hand-picked from the Roghani (Old Vine) Riesling Block 6.

2016 Love & Passion Red Blend

Ruby red with rich flavors of black cherries and ripe plums. The fall harvest of 2016 produced wines that were bold and robust. Tannic and full bodied, our Love and Passion was aged in fine oak barrels creating a perfect cigar box finish. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Shiraz.

2016 Rosé sec

This dry Rosé wine has a light and pretty floral aroma. During the crush, skins of the deep purple grapes are left on only momentarily in order to produce the palest of our Syrah wines. We hope you enjoy this wine with its flavor of summer strawberries and crisp finish of autumn cranberries. Bottle contains 100% Syrah grapes that were hand-picked in the Roghani Vineyards.

2018 Chardonnay

Fresh fruit notes of sun-ripened pears and citrus with a hint of almond and vanilla from the aging in oak for 6 months, this medium-bodied wine has a low acidity with a crisp citrus finish. Pairs well with chicken, fish, or shellfish and dishes made with fresh cheese or cream. Served chilled.

2019 chardonnay

Hand-picked 100% Chardonnay grapes. Warm and toasty tones of almond vanilla come from the aging in traditional oak barrels. The aroma of golden apples moves into sun-ripened pears with natural acidity and a snappy finish. Enjoy chilled.

2014 Platinume White Wine Blend

This alluring white blend mimics the aromatic flavor of tropical fruits, sweet apricots and sun-ripened white peach. A pleasing all around White Wine Blend with a refined sweetness and a subtle acidity. 70% Chardonnay, 28% Riesling, 2% Muscat.

2014 Unoaked chardonnay

Light and brimming with fresh fruit notes of golden apple and sun-ripened pear, our 100% Unoaked Chardonnay pressed from (Old Vine Block 3) lingers with a long crisp finish and pairs effortlessly with chicken, fish, or shellfish. Roghani Vineyards Unoaked Chardonnay is also a wonderful accompaniment to dishes made with farm-fresh cheeses or cream. Served chilled.
